NACDD’s Center for Advancing Healthy Communities works to build resilient and inclusive communities across the country. In 2022, they received a Public Health AmeriCorps grant to support the recruitment, training, and development of the next generation of public health leaders by providing Service Member opportunities in State Health Departments and community-based organizations.

After hearing first-hand from Service Members about their passion to make a difference in their communities and how valuable the experience had been for them, we developed a strategic communications plan and materials to increase awareness of the program and support recruitment efforts.

Our messaging helped NACDD showcase the value of Public Health AmeriCorps to prospective Service Members and Host Sites and our targeted digital ad campaigns resulted in a significant increase in applications across multiple cohorts.
